Which would you deem easier changing the world or changing yourself??? The obvious answer would be changing yourself. The reality though is that most would blame their environment, their peers, their situation, even the weather without ever once looking inward.
Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anythingGeorge Bernard ShawThe problem with change is that most fear the uncertainty of it and some fear getting left behind. Technology is one area where the only certainty is every new device will be obsolete before you learn all the functions. In addition to that if you do not keep up you will certainly be left behind. Not embracing change is analogous to turning your back on progress. When it comes to your online business change is a necessary evil if you expect your business to survive. This is especially true with online marketing where technology plays a huge part decisions go from real time to virtual time and strategies you implement today may be impractical tomorrow. This requires a different approach if you want to keep all your strategies up to date and this approach hinges on your ability to make decisions on the fly and change your mind without hesitation to keep pace with progress.
If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude.Maya AngelouMaya Angelou is one of favorite poets and her words certainly ring true in this case. This sentiment has been expressed in many ways by many different folks and it still occasionally falls on deaf ears. The most common one we probably know as the serenity prayer which talks about changing the things we can and accepting those we can’t and in accepting things we cannot change we in effect are changing our attitude. In business there are often obstacles you need to address and some will be within your sphere of influence and others not within your control. How you deal with the latter impacts your business and most times can best be addressed by changing your attitude and adjusting your business strategy. This approach is paramount in any online marketing business venture where technology changes quickly and strategies become ineffective just as quick.
You must take personal responsibility. You cannot change the circumstances, the seasons, or the wind, but you can change yourself. That is something you have charge of.Jim RohnThe sooner we realize that we are powerless to change our environment by changing the world or the people in it the easier it will become to search for change within. The reality of doing business in the real world or the virtual world in some type of network marketing opportunity is that change is inevitable and as an online marketing entrepreneur the responsibility falls squarely at your feet. You must not only embrace this responsibility but you must also hold yourself in some manner accountable as you will certainly be measured by your results.
There was actually a reason why I chose this specific picture for my post today. I always try to use my own pictures in my post as I have quite a collection. This particular one was from my visit to Babylon back in 2004 it is an ancient tablet. We no longer carve our words in stone and a tablet is now an electronic gadget. We use the saying “carve our words in stone” to imply that the words are important and intended to survive the ages. One popular way we use today to carve our words in stone is blogging. A blog may be used to grow a local business or an online business, share comments about your favorite sport or sports team, share your favorite DIY project or recipe, and even to just rant or rave about most anything. If blogging for whatever reason resonates with you here is what I want you to do now. Click on the link below my blog, watch the short informative video, and click through to get your very own blog just like mine. I see you on the inside to answer any questions you may have. Feel free to share my blog or post comments below.
